Liked: Pool and how elevators weren't super busy. This place has been my grandparents place to stay when they came to Oahu. It brought all good memories of my childhood days.

Could be better: Uber couldn't deliver straight to door. There were 2 nights I had to go down to lobby to receive orders after a long day. All I needed was a simply delivery to my room door.

Liked: I really liked the walkability to the Waikiki area. The International Market Place was 2 blocks away, there were many food options also within walking distance.

Could be better: The only thing I did not like was I could not get the tv to operate: I could see the channel menu, but I was unable to input and change to get any channels.. It probably took 2 seconds to ask one of the staff for help, but I was only there on an overnight.

Liked: Very convenient location. Close to the beach and all of Waikiki. We were able to walk to everything but also had a rental car to drive the island. Lovely staff! Welcoming and helpful! Free parking but the lot is limited! We loved having a kitchenette in our room for breakfast!

Could be better: Nothing. It’s an older hotel but well maintained

Liked: Great value. Apartment condition and size was perfect for the 4 of us. Only one bathroom but we were able to manage. Parking included was a huge benefit.

Could be better: washer & dryer in room. There was ample storage space so it would have been nice to have.

Liked: The Ilima Hotel is fantastic - free parking, professional and friendly staff, very clean rooms. We stayed in a room with one king bed and one double bed for three adults.Our room was on the 14th floor and I requested that ours face the mountains. It was a peaceful view onto the Ala Wai canal where there were rowing teams, people walking. There was street noise from cars and trucks occasionally. Restaurants, the International Market., Target, ABC stores, and a popular udon place, are less than a block away. Waikiki beach is about three blocks away.I started referring to the hotel as "home". it was easy to find the hotel while walking around as it has the pink trim. This came in handy for me one time. The room is more than double the size of similar ones in other hotels. The three of us could spread out and not feel cramped. Ask for beach towels at the front desk.There was a laundry basket in the closet although we didn't use the washer and dryer on the third floor. Also, two folding "tables" for carry ons, and a safe although.It was thoughtful to see unique, small touches. For example, in the bathroom, the glasses were not only covered in plastic, they were inverted and tied in a knot. . I've never see this in 60 years at many hotels. I noticed.We used the large-sized fridge and microwave. If you'd like to cook, there's an electric stove top, pots, pans, dish towels, new kitchen sponge and new mini dish soap. Could be better: バスルームの電気をつけると換気扇がすごい轟音で鳴り、換気扇だけを切ることができなかったのが残念。 古い建物のせいか、シャワーの水圧が弱く、続けてシャワーに入らない方がいいというアドバイスがありました。 口コミで隣のホテルが夜遅くまでうるさいと知っていましたが、やっぱり賑やかでしたね。

Liked: Felt like a step back for in time. This hotel is charming, well maintained, impeccably clean and all staff make you feel welcome. Part of my stay was using a room in the conference center. I travel about 40 weeks a year to all parts of the US and stay in various hotel chains. I have NEVER received this great of service.

Liked: Great location; free parking (44 spaces available—not guaranteed); large, clean room with a balcony and mountain and canal view (deluxe room on 11th floor—not all rooms are the same); reasonable prices compared to other properties in that area; full kitchen that we used often (a Target is nearby for fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat); elevators were fast and reliable; bathroom was freshly painted and caulked. I’d be pleased to come back again. As I reviewed the bill, I see a small daily “amenity fee” but it was wrapped into the total price listed on Booking.com rather than added as a surprise at checkout. It was great to get a full and final upfront price vs. many other properties with teaser rates and hidden fees.

Could be better: I had no real complaints—if I nitpick, the bathroom was a bit small and had no counter space (but did have a small shelf); the fan was a tad noisy.

Liked: The hotel is conveniently located. It is close to the beach but at the same time on a quieter side street. My room was renovated, modern, and very clean. It had a fridge, coffee maker, and an oven. It also had plates, pots, and utensils.

Could be better: I liked everything about this hotel. It was clean, convenient, and my room was spacious. It also had a great lanai overlooking the canal and the mountains.

Liked: having a kitchen, free parking, location to shopping

Could be better: The full beds were a little small for a couple.

Liked: Küchenzeile im Zimmer und kostenloser Parkplatz. Fussläufig zum Waikikistrand.

Could be better: Die Fenster konnte man nicht komplett schließen und von einer Bar drang jeden Abend sehr viel Lärm ins Zimmer. Mit Ohrenstöpseln kein Problem, aber man sollte das wissen.
