Liked: We have stayed in many nice hotels; we have never stayed in a room where we kept saying wow like this. It was extraordinary. The room was spotless, comfortable, the bathroom huge, the ac silent but efficient, the shower was epic and the staff friendly. The pool area could have had more shade, but that's a personal thing as there were cabanas. The downside was initially pillows but they provided a foam pillow and all was well. The kitchen was super useful.

Liked: This hotel is in an excellent location. The room was CLEAN!! It was not outdated or rundown.It had plenty of drawers and closet space. There was a small kitchen to cook, if needed. It had a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. There were laundry facilities on the same floor.The staff was friendly and informative.I was reluctant to stay at this hotel because there weren’t many recent reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely stay here again.Great visit!!

Liked: The Hokulani was just perfect for a solo, low stress, rejuvenation stay, since everything you need is within walking distance (ideal for somebody who has been to Oahu many, many times and is not sightseeing or in need of a car, and who wants to be as least intrusive as possible to the local population). I stayed in a one bedroom. The rooms are well-appointed, with a two burner cooktop, oven/microwave, toaster, rice cooker, full fridge. I mainly used it for breakfast and to reheat leftovers from restaurants. The housekeeping was impeccable (they come in once during your stay but can help out with requests - be sure to tip them!), and all the staff were so helpful. The pool is on the top deck along with a jacuzzi, and is only for lounging - not large enough for laps or anything. The bar opens at 1 pm, so mornings are good if you like it quieter. Plenty of deck chairs for laying out. There is small beach directly down the street that is sometimes submerged. For a larger beach you'll need to walk a few blocks up or down the beach. Pro-tips: You can request a quieter room, which is generally not pool-facing and is higher up. I was placed adjacent to the laundry room, but since the living room was between my bedroom and the laundry room, I never heard any noise from it. If you have people sleeping in the living room, this might not be a good type of room. Also, I opted for the Cirque Du Soleil show at the Outrigger instead of a luau, and it was magical! It was a truly restorative stay.

Liked: Enjoyed the hotel. Room was clean, large and seemed to have been recently refurbished. Very friendly staff. Right in the middle of Waikiki and main restaurant and shopping strip. NaLani sky bar offered some excellent view. Ku'ualoha was an excellent bar tender. Friendly and very proficient. The pool and bar area are very quiet do to it being open to only hotel guests and not the public. Downsides were an extremely small and limited gym, only one restaurant in the hotel that never seemed to have much business. The hotel being quiet did have it's positives being how busy Waikiki is, but it was a bit to quiet in my opinion. You had to venture off the property for any socializing. My room view was not good and an extremely loud industrial A/C unit on the ground made the balcony about useless to sit out on even from the 8th floor. Overall a good choice for a hotel in Waikiki.

Liked: Hokulani is one of the best properties in Waikiki. We are long time (47 year) return guests to Halekulani and we feel it is almost in the same category. The beauty of the room, the peace and quiet, the location, the view (from 901), the rooftop pool (and wonderful Brandon at the bar!), the comfort, all reach the highest level. You cannot do wrong by staying in this gorgeous place where you will be treated like very special guests. Mahalo!

Liked: We loved our week-long stay at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club Hokulani Waikiki Honolulu. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the resort was spotless. Our room had a nice balcony with a partial view of the ocean. We love that the patio doors open all the way to let the breeze in and allow us to people-watch. The room had everything we needed to cook a meal, and we enjoyed a comfortable stay. We took advantage of the rooftop pool that had a great view of the ocean and the city, and the bartenders were awesome! The resort was close to everything, although we elected to rent a car during our stay to explore the North Shore. It cost $50 to valet park, but it was worth it for us for the convenience. The valet staff was also professional and friendly. We would definitely recommend this resort.

The shower is one I wish I had in my house!! Very luxurious.We have stayed at Hokulani before and will stay again. It's perfect, not too busy, easy to access everything, very walkable around town with tons to do and places to eat. Easy 1/3 mile walk to the beach. We cant wait to come back!- Johm 3:17

Liked: My parents own a Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare and we decided to stay here for our family trip to Oahu in June 2025. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely come back for future trips.What we liked most: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They definitely elevated the experience and quality of the hotel. When we had an issue with our refrigerator, the staff were ready to help us find a solution. We also loved the room layout and design - with three people we had more than enough room. The bathroom was huge and luxurious. Some previous reviews expressed frustration with the view and the noisiness of the neighboring building - the view wasn’t great and while we could hear some noise, it wasn’t something that we noticed often. The view from the rooftop deck made up for what we couldn’t see from our hotel room window.The pool was small, but worked well for us because we spent most of our time at the beach, which is a short walk across the street. The location was amazing as it was near all the shops and restaurants.We loved everything about our stay here, and will definitely be coming back!

Liked: This was fabulous place in a great, central location with wonderful, helpful staff. The major shortcoming is the lack of food service pool side and also, with the exception of an Italian dinner place, No breakfast or lunch options onsite.

Liked: We arrived on October 25, 2025. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The resort was immaculate and very clean. The resort was centrally located and convenient to many of the places we wanted to visit. We will stay at this resort again while visiting Honolulu.

Liked: Clean, comfortable, close to everything. The staff are lovely, the rooms are huge and extremely well maintained. Any requests were met with a smile and the bell hops were amazingLaundry station is on every floor, free detergent available in your room. The washer and seperate dryer is an amazing amenity of this hotel.The beds although comfortable are not queens, possibly king single and felt smaller then a standard double bed.. luckily there is a pull out soft bed..Probably one of the best hotels for location as it is close to the high end shopping centre with loads of restaurants.I highly recommend this hotel and we will be staying here again in the future.

Liked: We booked a room with 2 X queen beds and stayed in room 405A fantastic hotel, with large rooms, kind staff and location a little 5 to 10 mins away from the main beach, in the high end shopping district next to Hawaiin shopping village.The rooms are extremely clean, the hotel is extremely clean and anything we asked for was actioned within 5mins (house keeping kept forgetting our daily complimentary water).Each floor has its own laundry station, with a washer and seperate dryer. The machines are huge and wash well!! Detergent is topped up to your room on a daily basis.We were very impressed with Cassel who looked after us on day of checkin as we had a 2 hour wait... He was kind and friendly throughout the process. You will also find the GM on the floor working, while we attended the rooftop pool and bar he greeted us and was helping his team. I have previously seen a GM on the floor in any other hotel we have stayed atParking is a premium here so we paid for valet parking at $50 USD per night. The staff at the valet were efficient.I would highly recommend this hotel, as we were travelling with family we needed space and we like hotels that are well maintained and this ticked every box

Liked: It was clean and spacious. The pans for cooking didn’t have any scratches. The bathroom had many great amenities including a big soaking tub and a shower with a rainfall type spout. Also, location was excellent, right next to longs drugs and close to the major outdoor malls.

Liked: The Hokulani Resort is one of the best resorts we have stayed at in the United States. From the service of the front desk to the amazing roof top pool, to the kind and helpful cleaning staff... it's a perfect vacation resort. It will be hard to find a better managed or cleaner resort anywhere.

Liked: This was a business trip for me but my wife and grown daughter came with me. It was walking distance to the convention center. They went a lit of places on the 5 days I was at the meeting. We had three extra days. It was a comfortable room, in a great location, and parking our car rental gave great freedom. There were resort charges and parking charges but overall it worked great for us.

Our view wasn’t the best, but the location was within walking distance of everything in Waikiki. This is one of the best timeshare exchanges I have had. We are already booked to stay here again.

Liked: This was our first time staying at Hokulani and we have been treated well by all staff, from arrival at valet to check in and security. Paul’s greeting and hospitality at valet made an excellent first impression. Brian at the front desk has been attentive to all our needs, especially when needing to extend our stay for a few nights. The rooms are beautiful, modern and clean. Bathroom is spacious with double vanity, tub and separate shower. Rooftop gives 360 degree view from mountains to ocean and offers daily happy hour. Plunge pool and jacuzzi, plus cabanas and bar service make it a pleasant area for relaxing and conversation. They also offer an activities schedule, like yoga, lei-making, ukulele lessons and movie night. Highly recommend for couples, leisure and business travelers. ALOHA!

Liked: Excellent Location… just a short walk from Waikiki Beach, restaurants, high end shopping & just about anything else in between! Relax at the rooftop pool and bar, or grab a seat outside of the resort, people watch & catch one many street shows w/ music and dancers. One of my new favorite hotels & will definitely return!
